Computer Requirements
Minimum Configuration
These requirements are adequate if you are planning to use single-point probing devices and your CAD model file sizes are smaller than 50 MB.
- Operating systems: Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) version 22H24, and equivalent Windows Enterprise versions
- CPU1: x64 quad-core processor (e.g., performance similar to Intel® Core™ i5)
- RAM: 8 GB
- Graphics card2: Hardware-accelerated, professional OpenGL graphics card equipped with 1 GB of memory
- Input device: Two-button mouse with wheel
Recommended Configuration
This configuration covers a broad range of applications by offering the performance required when importing larger CAD models or laser scanning large parts with high resolution.
- Operating systems: Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) version 22H24, and equivalent Windows Enterprise versions
- CPU1: x64 high-performance processor (e.g., comparable to Intel® Core™ i7 or superior)
- RAM: 32 GB or more
- Graphics card2,3: Professional NVIDIA RTX/Quadro series graphics card
- Input device: Two-button mouse with wheel
Notes:
ARM processors are not supported.
Entry-level or gaming-oriented graphics cards, such as the GeForce RTX series, are not supported as they are not professional graphics cards.
The CT module requires a NVIDIA GPU compatible with CUDA 12.8.
PolyWorks 2027 will require Windows 11 Pro. If you have doubts about the best system configuration for your type of application, contact our technical support team.
